STEP-2: Conduct the AI Readiness Skills Audit

Step-2 is all about assessing the current status of the AI Readiness of the school, the students and the teachers. It includes audits of the school's processes and assessments of the skill-gaps of students and teachers. Download the Mission Toolkit

STEP-3: Teach AI Readiness Skills to Students & Teachers

Step-3 is all about learning and practicing AI readiness skills by the students and teachers. It includes teaching DCIM as a subject to students and facilitating them to start experimenting with AI tools. It also includes training teachers to learn the '5C' roles and excel in the scenarios highlighted in the 'Toughest Exam for Indian Schools'. Why is it urgent for schools to start the AI Readiness Skills Mission TODAY?

This mission requires a minimum of two years for the transformation and skill development. Delaying the start of this mission could make a school obsolete within 5 to 6 years. Students passing out of your school urgently need AI Readiness Skills. Even the teachers need AI Readiness skills immediately to perform well in the 'NEP+AI+Internet' dominated scenarios.

What is AI Readiness Skills Mission Toolkit?

The AI Readiness Skills Mission Toolkit is a 'Do-It-Yourself' document which explains in detail how to implement the 3 steps of the mission in your school. Schools can reachout for support, if needed, during the execution of the 3 steps.

Which grades of students is this mission designed for?

The AI Readiness Skills Mission is primarily designed for students from 6th to 12th grades. This program is for students of all streams - science, commerce and humanities.

What skills will students gain from this mission?

The mission will equip students with a foundation of Digital Citizenship and Internet Maturity (DCIM) skills which includes online safety, online learning and online reputation management, higher-order skills like the 4Cs (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication) and hands-on experience with AI tools.

How will teachers benefit from this mission?

The mission will train teachers to become experts in the "5C roles" of creator, curator, conductor, coach and counselor, thus evolving into 21st century educators. They will also learn the best ways to use online resources, utilize AI in teaching-learning, and understand emerging AI tools and trends.

Is the AI Readiness Skills Mission about teaching AI and technology?

No, this mission is not about teaching AI technology, python coding, robotics, or other technical skills. It is a comprehensive approach that aims to prepare the school, the students and the teachers for the opportunities and challenges of the AI era. They shall learn to use AI as their assistant.

Does this mission require new infrastructure or significant investment?

No new infrastructure is required to start the mission, except your existing ICT facilities. The most important requirement is a transformative mindset, with active teachers and students. In the final step, if the school decides to take the DCIM course from iMature.in, there shall be a per-student fee for the course. Also the teachers’ training shall be fee based.

How long will it take to complete this mission in our school?
